private health fund rebates
Private health fund rebates may apply to your sessions with our clinicians. You will need to check with your fund regarding your level of cover and inclusions. Most private health funds require you to pay for your session upfront, and they reimburse you upon production of the receipt from your session.
DVA white and gold card holders
Melissa sees DVA White and Gold Card holders. If you hold a DVA White or GoldCard, please inform our Client Relations Team when you make your booking.
bulk billing and reduced rates
Bulk billing or reduced rates may be offered upon production of an Australian Government Health Care Card. This is at the discretion of the clinician. If you require consideration for reduced rates, please discuss with our Client Relations Team.
cancellation and non-attendance policy
When appointments are booked, the clinician reserves the whole hour especially for you, therefore the following cancellation policy is in place:
- We require 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a session without incurring any extra fees. This policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another client who many be on a cancellation or waiting list for an appointment
- A $50 fee will be charged for non-attendance, or less than 24 hours notice of cancellation of a session
- We understand that sometimes you may be unable to keep an appointment because of sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. If this happens to you, please contact us as soon as possible to explain the situation
- A late cancelled appointment or non-attendance is a loss to three people - the client who is delaying their therapy process, another client who has been sitting on the waiting list to see the clinician urgently, and the clinician who spent the morning preparing for the session.
