private health fund rebates

DVA white and gold card holders

Melissa sees DVA White and Gold Card holders. If you hold a DVA White or GoldCard, please inform our Client Relations Team when you make your booking.

NDIS registered participants

Melissa is a registered NDIS provider. Please contact the Practice Manager if you would like to discuss utilising Melissa for therapeutic supports under your plans. In addition, all of our practitioners can provide services under self-managed plans - speak to our Practice Manager about referral and invoicing.

cancellation and non-attendance policy

When appointments are booked, the clinician reserves the whole hour especially for you, therefore the following cancellation policy is in place:

  • We require 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a session without incurring any extra fees. This policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another client who many be on a cancellation or waiting list for an appointment
  • A $50 fee will be charged with less than 24 hours notice of cancellation of a session
  • For cancellations on the day of a session or no-shows, the full session fee will be charged
  • We understand that sometimes you may be unable to keep an appointment because of sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. If this happens to you, please contact us as soon as possible to explain the situation
  • A late cancelled appointment or non-attendance is a loss to three people - the client who is delaying their therapy process, another client who has been sitting on the waiting list to see the clinician urgently, and the clinician who spent the morning preparing for the session.
